Darjeeling lies in the foothills of the lower Himalayas which are also known as the Mahabharata range. This town was Developed by the British in the mid 19th century and was famous for its hill stations. Only later they came to know that this region was suitable for tea plantations and preparation for that began, the town soon became the tea hub in India and was said to produce the finest tea leaves in the country.
Kalimpong is an east Indian hill town in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Perched on a ridge above the Teesta River, it’s home to colonial-era buildings like MacFarlane Memorial Church, named after a Scottish missionary. South, the hilltop Durpin Monastery, or Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, contains sacred Buddhist scriptures. Deolo Park has landscaped gardens and offers views of the town and surrounding hills

Day 02:Darjeeling Full Local Sightseeing
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop .Return to hotel for breakfast refreshments,have some rest then visit, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Central Ropeway,Tensing Gumpo Rock,Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday),Natural History Museum(Sunday Closed), Japanese Buddhist Temple and Japanese peace pagoda is one of the Peace Pagodas designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds to help unite them in their search for world peace.Happy valley tea state,established in 1854, it is Darjeeling's second oldest tea estate.– Evening free to stroll around the area.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03:Darjeeling to Kalimpong and Kalimpong local Sightseeing
This early morning, have your breakfast and then take a transfer to Kalimpong (49 km).A popular tourist destination in West Bengal, Kalimpong is a small hill station, known for its tranquility and scenic beauty. Kalimpong is a great destination for those who wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some time in peace. Set at an elevation of 1247 meter, Kalimpong offers spectacular view of the Himalayas and a green ambience to all the visitors. The place is a paradise for nature lovers because of its flower markets and horticulture.On reaching Kalimpong, check-in to the hotel.
