Darjeeling lies in the foothills of the lower Himalayas which are also known as the Mahabharata range. This town was Developed by the British in the mid 19th century and was famous for its hill stations. Only later they came to know that this region was suitable for tea plantations and preparation for that began, the town soon became the tea hub in India and was said to produce the finest tea leaves in the country.
Day 01: Arrival At Njp Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport(IXB) And transfer to Darjeeling

Day 02:Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop .Return to hotel for breakfast refreshments,have some rest then visit, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Central Ropeway,Tensing Gumpo Rock,Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday),Natural History Museum(Sunday Closed), Japanese Buddhist Temple and Japanese peace pagoda is one of the Peace Pagodas designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds to help unite them in their search for world peace.Happy valley tea state,established in 1854, it is Darjeeling's second oldest tea estate.– Evening free to stroll around the area.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03:Darjeeling to Mirik and back to Darjeeling
After breakfast,start for Mirik,drive through the lush green pine forest.Click some pictures with family and friends.Visit Simana View Point,is a plateau 60X40 feet in length.The word derived from hindi word means Border.It is Indo-Nepal border area.The road lies in India and viewpoint itself lies in Nepal.You can easily cross over and have a beautiful valley of Mount Kanchenjunga.You can see Maneybhanjan below and the beautiful mountains on a clear day. Pashupati Market,At a distance of 6 km from Simana Viewpoint, market situated at Pashupati Nagar near Mirik.It is specifically known for cheap imported electronic gadgets, jackets, perfumes, cosmetics and clothes that are imported from Thailand.After reaching Mirik Visit Mirik Lake or Sumendu Lake, is a lake in Mirik. It is 1.25 km long. The lake has 80 ft. long arch footbridge across the lake called the Indreni Pull.Bokar Monastery,the Monastery is one of the few in India that have retained its traditional beliefs and environment from the very beginning.Return to Darjeeling, overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 04:Darjeeling to Njp Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport Transfer
