Aritar is a region in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim under Rongli Sub-Division. Zuluk Overview
Dzuluk or Zuluk or Jhuluk or Jaluk is a small hamlet located at a height of around 10,000 feet on the rugged terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim of the Indian state Sikkim.Zuluk is a relatively new tourist destination of East Sikkim. It is a small village with a large military settlement, given that the Indo-Tibet boarder is nearby. The village itself is an attractive tourist destination for visitors looking for a quite sojourn. For most tourists, however, it is the base from which they explore the higher altitude tourist destinations of Nathang Valley, Kupup and Tsongmo lake.During the summer months, the area and its surrounding hills are covered with thousands of blooming rhododendron. Zuluk during these months, is a riot of colors due to the variety of rhododendron that can be seen here.
Nathang Overview
Nathang Valley in simple words can be described as one of the best places to stay at or visit in Sikkim. Nathang Valley is located along Silk Route in East Sikkim.Gnathang Valley or Nathang Valley is popularly called the “ Ladakh of the East India”. Situated at the height of 13,500 ft. above the sea level Nathang Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Old-Silk-Route. Surrounded by snow capped hills and mountain landscape Gnathang Valley offers an astounding view of Mt. Khanchendzongha. Mt. Kanchenjunga seems to be a stone throwing distance from Nathang Valley. Viewing majestic beauty of Eastern Himalaya during sunrise from Gnathang Valley is a life-long memorable experience. Chinese Watch Towers are clearly visible from Nathang valley in naked eyes.
Itinerary Detail
Day 01: Arrival at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport to Sillery
Meet & greet on arrival at NJP / IXB and drive for 4 HRS to Sillery, a god gifted Jem in Darjeeling hill overlooking 180 degree Mt Kanchenjunga from your cottage. You can also do a softtrek to nearby Pine Forest Village .Enjoy the breathtaking Sunset on Mt Kanchenjunga from your room .Overnight in Sillery Gaon.
Day 02:Transfer from Sillery to Mankhim
After breakfast start for Mankhim, just beside of Lampokhri Lake. This lake is the highest lake with boating facility in Sikkim. Enjoy the boating in Post Lunch session. Enroute Sightseeing to Mankhim Temple, Mankhim View Point, Aritar Monastery and Aritar Dakbunglow.Overnight in Mankhim.
DAY 03:Transfer from Mankhim to Zuluk
After breakfast , start journey from Mankhim towards Zuluk via Lingtum , Padamchen , Kheukhela falls , Enjoy the Sunset from Zuluk.Overnight in Zuluk.
DAY 04:Zuluk to Nathang
After Breakfast , enjoy the beauty of Thambi View Point, 95 Turns,Lungthung, Laxman Chowk, GNathang Valley, Tukla Valley, Old Baba Mandir, Four Lake Point Jelep-la Pass View and reach Kupup 13,900ft. Don't miss the Elephant lake At Kupup, see the World's highest Golf course, the Yak Golf Course at 13,025 ft (Guinness Book Of World Records acclaimed), and the Ice Hockey ground. Here also see the highest cool water polo ground at kupup. Overnight stay Nathang.
DAY 05:Nathang to Rongpokhola
After Breakfast, start for Rongpokhola from Nathang. Have lunch at riverside and enjoy the music of Rongpo river. You can also indulge your self in the luxury of bathing and fishing in the crystal clear Rongpo river.Overnight in Rongpokhola.
Day 06:Rongpokhola to NJP / IXB Drop
After Breakfast Proceed for NJP / IXB from Rongpokhola with a sweet silk route memory.
