Pelling is famous for its magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga. Situated at an altitude of 1,900 m (6,250 ft), the location offers good views of the surrounding mountain ranges including the Koktang, Frey, Rathong, Kabru North and Kabru South, Kabru Dom, Talung Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Jopuno, Tinchikhang, Narsing and others.The main center of attraction is the breath-taking sight of the Khangchendzonga and the neighbouring peaks. The famous Pemayangste monastery is less than a kilometre from here and is a major tourist hotspot. It also provides sites for mountain biking, rock climbing, village tours, meditations, educational studies and several other activities. The scenic town of Pelling is a perfect holiday destination for all nature lovers.
Located about 78 km away from the city of Gangtok, Sikkim. Day 01: Arrival at Njp railway station / Bagdogra Airport(IXB) and transfer to Pelling
Upon arrival, meet our representative and drive to Pelling. Arrival at Pelling, check into the Hotel. Evening free to walk around the town. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02:Pelling local Sightseeing
After breakfast We will have a seight seeing of pelling and around which include Khangchendzonga waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdanse Ruins, sewaro rock garden, darap village, Rimbi Water Falls & Karchen Power House, helipad ground, Khecheopalri Lake: This is considered one of the sacred lakes of Sikkim. The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover. It is believed that birds do not permit even a single leaf to float on the lake surface. Ensure maintaining the sanctity of the place by being silent, and by not trying to feed the fish. When descending from Pemayangtse Monastery you can take a left turn and take a walk for 10 min to reach to the gateway of Rabdanse Ruins. The ruins lie hidden from the main road. The walk towards Rabdantse is through a forest area with some rare species of orchids and a few lakes. These lakes are also home to local carp fish. There are good views from the top of the ruins looking across the deep valley and to the Khang-chen-Dzonga ranges.
DAY 03:Pelling to Namchi transfer and Namchi Local sightseeing
After breakfast excursion to Namchi and visit Namchi Helipad , Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir & Pilgrimage Center dedicated to praise Shirdi Sai,the gold accents temple is surrounded by a beautiful garden from where one could get a panoramic view of Mt. Khangchendzonga.Char Dham ,is huge pilgrimage cum cultural complex developed by the Sikkim Government to promote Religious. Samdruptse hill,the 'wish fulfilling hill' is just 5 km away from Namchi.This epic hill is ornamented with a giant statue of the Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche); the patron saint of Sikkim who has been showering its blessings since more than 1,200 years. Namchi Rock Garden,situated in a remote mountain locale reached by car or aerial tram. Temi Tea Garden,is one of the famous tea estate of Southern Sikkim.Over night stay at Namchi.
DAY 04:Namchi to Ravangla ,Ravangla Local
After breakfast start for Ravangla tour covering Buddha Park, Ravangla Town, Rallong Monastery & Tendong Hill. Overnight stay at Namchi.
Day 05: Namchi to Bagdogra airport / Njp station
After breakfast , Excursion to Bagdogra airport / Njp station . This is the end of trip.
